February 6th was a big day. This was the day that we would remove the body from the frame and disassemble the front and rear suspension. The first step was to remove any bolts that held the body to the frame. |

The next step is to begin lifting the body from the frame. We began by positioning two stand behind the front wheels and inserting a 2x8 in front of the firewall. This can be done by one person but is easier if you have two people to lift both sides at the same time. |

The rear of the car was lifted off the frame by using a jack which was able to lift the body high enough so that the entire car was clear of the rear tires. |
| Once you make sure that everything is clear, that the tires weren't going to hit the body or the jack stands, you can pull the frame out from underneath the car. |  |
